Titanium fasteners are the preferred assembly choice when corrosion resistance, weight reduction or biocompatibility matters more than raw tensile strength alone. Commercially pure titanium fasteners (Grade 1 and Grade 2 CP) are used in non-load-bearing or moderately loaded assemblies where chemical resistance is the primary requirement, while alloy-grade fasteners — most commonly Grade 5 (Ti-6Al-4V), also Grade 7, 9, 12 and 23 — are specified when higher shear and tensile strength must be combined with titanium's corrosion properties. Grade 2 CP titanium and Grade 5 (Ti-6Al-4V) alloy fasteners are available from stock. Grade 1, 7, 9, 12 and 23 are available on a per-inquiry basis.

Feinuotai supplies fasteners to the thread and dimension standards specified in your inquiry, as well as non-standard configurations to customer drawings; applicability is verified before order confirmation. Available types include hex head bolts, socket head cap screws, carriage bolts, machine screws, hex and lock nuts, stud bolts, flat and spring washers, and custom pins, rivets and plugs. For each inquiry we confirm specification, grade, surface finish and quantity before quoting.

Referenced Standards — Applicable Product Standards for Titanium Fasteners

No single ASTM standard covers all titanium fastener configurations end-to-end. Applicable standards are selected according to the specific fastener type, material form, dimensions and performance requirements. DIN 912 / ISO 4762 for socket head cap screws, DIN 931 / DIN 933 for hex bolts, DIN 934 / ISO 4032 for hex nuts, and related DIN / ISO product standards are applied where the selected titanium grade and manufacturing route permit. Thread tolerances follow 6g (external) / 6H (internal) class unless specified otherwise. ASTM F468 (Nonferrous Bolts, Hex Cap Screws, and Studs for General Use) and ASTM F467 (Nonferrous Nuts for General Use) are reviewed as applicable per the specific product and material.

Material Grades & Mechanical Properties

Four titanium grades are routinely used for fasteners — Grade 2 (commercially pure), Grade 5 (Ti-6Al-4V), Grade 7 (Ti-0.2Pd) and Grade 23 (Ti-6Al-4V ELI). Grade 2 and Grade 5 fasteners are available from stock; Grade 7 and Grade 23 are supplied on a per-inquiry basis.

Mechanical properties of titanium fasteners depend on the selected material grade, fastener type, dimensions, manufacturing route, and applicable product requirements. Final mechanical properties should be confirmed against the agreed technical specification and relevant test documentation.

Not every strength statement applies to every fastener type.

Thread, Dimensions & Surface Finish

Titanium fasteners are supplied in a comprehensive range of metric and inch thread forms, head configurations and surface finishes.

Custom & Non-Standard Titanium Fasteners

Beyond the 12 standard fastener types cataloged, Feinuotai coordinates the production of custom, drawing-based titanium fasteners — unusual head configurations, special thread forms, custom lengths and non-metric sizes. These are coordinated through our manufacturing partners and tooling program.

For drawing-based or custom fastener requirements, please provide:
  • Fastener type / head configuration
  • Thread form (metric / inch, pitch)
  • Diameter and length
  • Titanium grade (1, 2, 5, 7, 23)
  • Quantity and tolerance requirements
  • Drawing reference (DWG / STEP / PDF preferred)

Frequently Asked Questions

Which grades are available from stock?

Grade 2 CP titanium and Grade 5 (Ti-6Al-4V) alloy fasteners are available from stock. Grade 1, 7, 9, 12 and 23 are available on a per-inquiry basis.

Which standards do you supply fasteners to?

Fasteners are supplied to the thread and dimension standards specified in your inquiry, as well as non-standard configurations to customer drawings; applicability is verified before order confirmation.

How do I request a quotation for fasteners?

Tell us the fastener type, size, thread form, grade and quantity — or send a drawing for custom head shapes, special threads or unusual sizes. For each inquiry we confirm specification, grade, surface finish and quantity before quoting.

What strength class do titanium fasteners correspond to?

No single "strength class" designation covers all titanium fastener configurations. Mechanical properties of titanium fasteners depend on the selected material grade, fastener type, dimensions, manufacturing route, and applicable product requirements. Final mechanical properties should be confirmed against the agreed technical specification and relevant test documentation for each specific part, diameter and application at the inquiry stage.

Are titanium fasteners available in all DIN and ISO standards?

We maintain standard stock for DIN 912 (socket cap), DIN 933/931 (hex bolts), DIN 7991 (countersunk socket), DIN 934 (hex nuts) and related fastener families. Additional DIN/ISO standards are coordinated per inquiry.

Can self-locking or coated titanium fasteners be supplied?

Plain passivated titanium is our standard finish. Nylon patch self-locking, serrated flange nuts and dry-film-lubricated variants are available — confirm the type and quantity in your inquiry as some require minimum tooling runs.
