Titanium button head hexagon socket screws — rounded low-profile head, no countersink required, Allen drive. ISO 7380 / DIN 7380 commonly referenced.
ISO 7380 / DIN 7380 commonly referenced.
Rounded low-profile button head. Sits slightly above surface. No countersink needed. Head height much lower than socket head cap of same diameter.
Hexagon socket (Allen). Drive size smaller than socket head cap screws of same diameter due to reduced head height.
Metric coarse & fine pitch. Fully threaded. Inch UNC / UNF on request.
Standard Range: M2.5–M20 (ISO 7380). Lengths per standard series.
Custom Supply: Non-standard diameters, cut-to-length, custom head dimensions.
Stock Availability: M3–M12 common lengths in Gr2 & Gr5.
Regular: Grade 2 (CP Ti) & Grade 5 (Ti-6Al-4V alloy).
Coordinated: Grade 1, Grade 7, Grade 9, Grade 23 — subject to order quantity.
Note: Button head strength lies between socket head cap (strongest Allen drive) and countersunk (weakest). Specify load requirements — we will advise.
ISO 7380 (international), DIN 7380 (German), ANSI B18.3.3M (inch).
Non-standard head profiles, special thread pitches, coatings and finish requirements coordinated per drawing.
Bag / box / wooden case per request. Bulk, small-lot and export packaging supported.
Low-profile fasteners for cabin interiors, seat frames & panel clips.
Smooth rounded heads suitable for patient-contact housings.
Aesthetic rounded head appearance with Allen drive convenience.
Bicycle, motorcycle & outdoor equipment light-duty assembly.
Socket head cap (DIN 912): Tall cylindrical head, highest strength, head protrudes — requires sufficient clearance above the surface.
Button head (ISO 7380): Low rounded head, intermediate strength, slightly protruding — no countersink needed, fits where clearance is limited but flush surface is not required.
Countersunk (DIN 7991): Flush head, lowest strength, requires 90° countersink — when surface protrusion must be zero.
Choose based on clearance, strength and surface finish requirements.
For the same screw diameter, both use Allen (hex) drive, but the drive size in button head screws is usually smaller than in socket head cap screws of the same diameter (due to reduced head height). Always check the drive size specification — a button head M6 may use a 3 mm Allen bit while a socket head cap M6 uses a 4 mm Allen bit.
Yes — for the same nominal diameter, the button head height is approximately 40–50% of the socket head cap height. Consult ISO 7380 vs DIN 912 dimensions or tell us your clearance requirement and we will recommend.
