Precision-drawn titanium wire produced to tight diameter tolerances and consistent surface finishes — supplied in coils, straightened cut lengths or wound on spools, depending on your downstream process.
Four wire supply formats and specialty alloy — each with its own manufacturing and downstream use case.

Continuously drawn titanium wire wound into loose coils for rewinding or further processing.

Cold-straightened and cut to fixed lengths — often used as welding filler or pin stock.
Precision-layered wire wound on plastic or metal spools for automated feeding.
Nickel-titanium shape-memory alloy wire for biomedical, aerospace and actuator applications — not pure titanium wire.
Titanium wire is manufactured by cold drawing through a series of precision dies to achieve the required final diameter, with intermediate annealing to restore ductility and control tensile properties. Feinuotai supplies Commercially Pure Titanium Wire (Grade 1, 2) for general-purpose use and Titanium Alloy Wire (Grade 5 Ti-6Al-4V, Grade 7, Grade 23 Ti-6Al-4V ELI) for higher tensile strength or specific corrosion requirements. All five grades are available from stock. Specific diameter, tolerance class, surface condition and packaging format — coils vs. straightened cut lengths vs. plastic or metal spools — are all confirmed per inquiry.
Titanium wire serves a surprisingly broad range of end uses: as GTAW (TIG) and GMAW (MIG) welding filler metal for titanium structures; as the feedstock for weaving welded or woven titanium mesh; as spring wire for high-ratio strength-to-weight applications; and in some medical and electrical components where biocompatibility and corrosion resistance are both required. Note that components intended for medical device use are subject to applicable regulatory requirements, which should be confirmed at the inquiry stage.
All titanium wire supplied by Feinuotai is produced to ASTM B863 / B863M, the primary North American standard for drawn titanium wire. The European equivalent is EN 10204 3.1 / 3.2. Where project specifications require alternate standards (ASME, NACE, or customer-specific), these are confirmed at the inquiry stage.
Five titanium grades are routinely drawn into wire by Feinuotai. All five grades are kept in stock at standard diameters and can be produced to non-standard diameters on inquiry.
| Grade | Material | Strength Condition | Stock Status | Common Uses |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Grade 1 | Commercially Pure (CP) | Annealed | In Stock | Softest CP grade — medical, electrical, general-purpose wire |
| Grade 2 | Commercially Pure (CP) | Annealed | In Stock | Most widely used — welding filler, mesh weaving, springs, electrodes |
| Grade 5 | Ti-6Al-4V | Annealed / Cold Worked | In Stock | Higher tensile strength — aerospace, medical device, structural wire |
| Grade 7 | Ti-0.2Pd | Annealed | In Stock | Palladium-stabilized for extreme corrosive chemical environments |
| Grade 23 | Ti-6Al-4V ELI | Annealed | In Stock | Extra-low interstitial — medical device, dental implant, surgical |
Note: NiTi (nickel-titanium) shape-memory alloy wire is also available but produced by specialty alloy suppliers and coordinated per inquiry — not a pure titanium product.
Feinuotai draws wire across a wide diameter range. Standard tolerances follow ASTM B863 Table 4; tighter tolerances can be produced for precision applications.
| Parameter | Standard Range | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Wire Diameter | 0.10 mm – 8.00 mm (0.004" – 0.315") | Standard diameters in mm and AWG sizes available from stock |
| Diameter Tolerance | ±0.002 mm (≤1.0 mm dia) / ±0.003 mm (>1.0 mm dia) | Per ASTM B863 Table 4; tighter tolerances quoted on inquiry |
| Tensile Strength (Grade 2 annealed) | 345 – 485 MPa | Cold worked grades and alloy grades available |
| Length (Straight Cut) | 500 mm – 3000 mm | Custom cut-to-length available |
| Surface Finish | Drawn (B), Annealed & Pickled | Polished and specialty surface finishes coordinated per inquiry |
Wire is supplied in three primary packaging formats, selected according to your downstream process.
Continuously drawn wire wound into loose coils on steel or wooden reels — ideal for rewinding, heat treatment or further cold drawing.
Precision-layered wire wound on plastic or metal spools with controlled traverse pitch — for automated welding feeders and machinery.
Cold-straightened and cut to fixed lengths — often used as GTAW/MIG welding filler, pin stock or small-form mechanical parts.
Feinuotai routinely produces wire outside standard diameter ranges, with special tolerances, or in custom packaging. For drawing-based or otherwise custom requirements, you may share your drawings with our sales team by email or WhatsApp after initial contact.
Filler wire for GTAW (TIG) and GMAW (MIG) welding of titanium structures.
Feedstock for woven or welded titanium mesh used in filtration and electrodes.
High-ratio strength-to-weight wire for springs, clips and small formed components.
Biocompatible and corrosion-resistant wire for electrodes, leads and surgical devices.
Commercially Pure Titanium Wire in Grade 1 and Grade 2 for general-purpose use, and Titanium Alloy Wire in Grade 5 (Ti-6Al-4V), Grade 7 and Grade 23 (Ti-6Al-4V ELI) for higher tensile strength or specific corrosion requirements. All five grades are available from stock; diameter, tolerance class, surface condition and packaging format are confirmed per inquiry.

ASTM B863 / B863M — Standard Specification for Titanium and Titanium Alloy Wire. The European equivalent is EN 10204 3.1 / 3.2.
Standard tolerances per ASTM B863 Table 4: ±0.002 mm for diameters ≤ 1.0 mm, ±0.003 mm for diameters > 1.0 mm. Tighter tolerances can be negotiated for precision applications.
