Titanium Tubes & Pipes

Seamless, welded, coiled and square titanium tubing — engineered for shell-and-tube heat exchangers, process piping and systems that demand corrosion resistance combined with low structural weight.

Products

Eight tube and pipe types covering industrial process, heat exchanger and structural needs.

Titanium tubes and pipes are produced by two principal manufacturing routes: seamless (pierced and cold-drawn from solid billet) and welded (formed from strip or sheet and longitudinally welded). Feinuotai supplies seamless titanium tubes, welded titanium tubes, and coiled titanium tubing in Grade 1, 2, 3, 4 (commercially pure titanium), Grade 5 (Ti-6Al-4V), Grade 7, 9 and 12. Seamless tubing is typically preferred for high-pressure and critical-duty applications where material continuity matters, while welded tubing can offer cost advantages for larger diameters and structural uses. Coiled tubing — formed from straight lengths — is used in chillers and compact heat-exchanger designs. Grade 1, 2 and 5 are available from stock. Grade 3, 4, 7, 9 and 12 are available on a per-inquiry basis.

Titanium tubing resists pitting and crevice corrosion from seawater, acids and chloride-containing media far better than carbon steel or most stainless alternatives — the reason it has become standard for shell-and-tube heat exchangers, condensers and process piping in chemical, desalination, marine and power-generation plants. Coiled tubing, formed from straight lengths, is widely used in chillers and compact heat-exchanger designs.

ASTM B338 / B338M — Titanium Tubing for Heat Exchangers and Process Piping

Titanium tube and pipe from Feinuotai is produced to ASTM B338 (heat exchanger and condenser tubing), ASTM B337 (seamless and welded pipe), and applicable ASME B31.3 process piping codes. All grades and diameter ranges are covered.

Product Range & Manufacturing Methods

Feinuotai supplies tubing in eight product configurations — each with its own production route and downstream application.

Dimensions, Wall Thickness & Grades

Feinuotai supplies a broad OD and wall thickness range across six standard titanium grades. Seamless and welded routes both available — the selection depends on diameter, pressure class and availability.

Tube Bending & Forming — Standard Supply Capability

Feinuotai provides bent and formed titanium tubing as a standard service — not a separate specialty. Common bend configurations include 90° and 45° bends, U-bends, coil bends, offset bends and custom drawings.

T

Titanium Tube Bending

Hydraulic and rotary draw bending to R = 1.5D and beyond — standard for 90° and 45° elbows in all grades.

C

Custom Bending Configurations

U-bends, J-bends, offset bends, multiple-plane bends — produced to customer supplied drawings.

D

Drawing-Based Tube Fabrication

Complete tube assemblies produced to DWG / STEP / DXF drawings — including bending, cutting, beveling and end preparation.

I

Bent Tubing for Industrial Applications

Heat exchangers, condenser coils, offshore riser bends, chemical process loop lines and instrument tubing — all available pre-bent.

Supply Options & Drawing-Based Inquiry

Standard tube lengths, grades and diameters ship from stock. Non-standard tubing, bent forms and drawing-based assemblies are coordinated per inquiry. For drawing-based or custom requirements, you may share your drawings with our sales team by email or WhatsApp after initial contact.

Frequently Asked Questions

Seamless or welded — which should I choose?

Seamless tubing is typically preferred for high-pressure and critical-duty applications where material continuity matters. Welded tubing can offer cost advantages for larger diameters and structural uses. The supply route is confirmed per inquiry.

Which grades are available for tubes and pipes?

Seamless, welded and coiled tubing are supplied in Grade 1, 2, 3, 4 (commercially pure titanium), Grade 5 (Ti-6Al-4V), Grade 7, 9 and 12. Grade 1, 2 and 5 are available from stock; Grade 3, 4, 7, 9 and 12 are available on a per-inquiry basis.

What should I include in a tube inquiry?

Please state the outside diameter, wall thickness, grade, length and whether you need seamless, welded or coiled tubing — the appropriate supply route and lead time are then confirmed.

What is the difference between seamless and welded titanium tube?

Seamless tube is produced by piercing a solid billet and drawing to final diameter — preferred for high-pressure, high-availability and corrosion-critical applications. Welded tube is produced by rolling flat strip and longitudinally welding — more economical for large-diameter, structural or low-pressure uses.

Can you provide bent titanium tubing?

Yes — titanium tube bending is a standard Feinuotai supply service. We can produce 90°, 45°, U-bends, J-bends, offset bends and custom configurations to your drawings. Confirm bend angle, bend radius (R = 1.5D minimum) and quantity in your inquiry.

What are the standard tolerances on diameter and wall thickness?

ASTM B338 specifies diameter tolerance of ±0.25% (plus ovality) and wall thickness tolerance of ±10% for seamless tube and ±12.5% for welded. Tighter tolerances available on inquiry.
