90° flat head titanium hex socket screws — head sits completely flush with the mating surface after assembly. DIN 7991 / ISO 10642 commonly referenced.
DIN 7991 / ISO 10642 commonly referenced standard.
90° flat countersunk conical head. Matched 90° countersink required in mating part.
Hexagon socket (Allen). Drive size smaller than socket head cap screws of the same diameter due to reduced head height.
Metric coarse & fine pitch. Inch UNC / UNF on request.
Standard Range: M2.5–M20 (DIN 7991). Lengths include head.
Custom Supply: Non-standard countersink angles (e.g. 82°), cut-to-length, custom head dimensions.
Stock Availability: M3–M12 common lengths in Gr2 & Gr5.
Regular: Grade 2 (CP Ti) & Grade 5 (Ti-6Al-4V alloy).
Coordinated: Grade 1, Grade 7, Grade 9, Grade 23 — subject to order quantity.
Note: Countersunk head reduces effective tensile / shear capacity compared to socket head cap screws of the same diameter. Specify load requirements — we will confirm suitability.
DIN 7991 (metric), ISO 10642 (international), ANSI B18.3.2 (inch).
Non-standard countersink angles, custom head profiles, special thread pitches, coatings coordinated per drawing.
Bag / box / wooden case per request. Bulk and export packaging supported.
Flush-fitting fasteners for aircraft skins, control surfaces & panels.
Low-profile, non-protruding assembly for housings and instrumentation.
Applications requiring a perfectly flush surface finish.
Flush-lying fasteners that minimize crevice corrosion risk.
Countersunk (DIN 7991): Flush head — requires 90° countersink in mating part. Lowest strength due to head design.
Socket head cap (DIN 912): Tall cylindrical protruding head — highest strength of the three, no countersink needed.
Button head (ISO 7380): Low-profile rounded protruding head — no countersink, moderate strength. Specify which variant suits your clearance and strength requirements.
No — the conical countersunk head will only seat properly against a matching 90° countersink. If the mating part is flat, use a button head or socket head cap screw instead.
Titanium countersunk screw strength depends on grade, diameter and thread engagement. The countersunk head itself is weaker than a raised head — do not directly compare to socket head cap screw load capacity of the same diameter. We can advise against specific load cases.
