Titanium screws with cross-recess (Phillips) drive — pan head (DIN 7985) or countersunk (DIN 965). Lower torque capability compared to Torx or Allen drives.
DIN 7985 (pan head) & DIN 965 (countersunk) commonly referenced.
DIN 7985 pan head (rounded disc, surface-protruding) & DIN 965 countersunk (90° flush-fitting, requires countersink).
Phillips cross-recess drive. Drive size coded (Ph000 to Ph3). Drive is cam-out designed — not for high torque.
Metric coarse pitch. DIN 7985 fully threaded. DIN 965 fully threaded. Fine pitch on request.
Standard Range: M1–M10 (DIN 7985 / 965).
Custom Supply: M0.5, M12+ and cut-to-length per drawing.
Stock Availability: M2.5–M6 common lengths in Gr2.
Regular: Grade 2 (CP Ti).
Coordinated: Grade 5 (Ti-6Al-4V alloy), Grade 1, Grade 7, Grade 9 — subject to order quantity.
Note: Phillips drive cam-out limits maximum practical torque. Specify your torque requirement — we will recommend whether Phillips is suitable or whether Torx / Allen drive is needed.
DIN 7985 (pan head cross-recess), DIN 965 (countersunk cross-recess). ISO 7045 / ISO 7046 international equivalents.
Non-standard diameters, lengths, drive sizes, head profiles and coatings coordinated per drawing.
Bag / box / wooden case per request. Bulk, small-lot and export packaging supported.
Light-duty assembly where cam-out-limited torque is acceptable.
Non-magnetic, light-torque assembly with flush or pan head options.
Low-torque fastening with corrosion resistance — wherever a screwdriver is used.
Bicycle, motorcycle and outdoor equipment light-duty assembly.
Phillips: Original cross-recess design — cam-outs naturally at high torque (purpose-designed safety feature). Drive marked Ph.
Pozidriv: Improved cross-recess that resists cam-out — used in some DIN self-tapping screws (DIN 7982). Drive marked Z.
Torx (six-lobe star): Non-cam-out drive — accepts much higher torque with no slip-out.
For applications where torque matters, choose Torx or Allen over Phillips. Specify drive type.
Pan head (DIN 7985): slightly rounded disc head, sits on the surface. Use when no countersink is available or required.
Countersunk (DIN 965): 90° cone head, sits flush with mating surface. Requires 90° countersink in the mating part. Use for flush-surface assemblies.
No — using the wrong drive tool causes tool damage, screw head damage and injury risk. Always match the screwdriver / bit to the drive recess. For assembly-line environments, specify a single drive standard across your entire product range.
