Slit and rolled titanium strip supplied in two forms — coils for continuous-process lines and rewinding, and cut-to-length strips for downstream forming, welding or fabrication. Thickness, width, grade and quantity confirmed against your order.
Product Overview — Titanium strip is a narrow rolled flat titanium product — narrower than standard sheet or plate, supplied in two distinct forms. Coils suit continuous-process manufacturing, rewinding and downstream slitting operations. Cut-to-length strips are cut from wider strip runs to specified length and suit downstream forming, welding, stamping or fabrication where a precise straight length is needed rather than a continuous coil.
Long-form note for procurement: Titanium strip is the starting stock for welded titanium tube production — wider slit strip is progressively formed and longitudinally welded into welded tube and pipe. It is also the feedstock for continuous-process lines where a continuous flat material is required rather than cut sheets. Coil weight, inner diameter, edge condition (slit, round, sheared) and surface finish are all specification items that affect downstream processing.
Grade 1, 2, 3, 4 (CP titanium), Grade 5 (Ti-6Al-4V), Grade 7, 9, 11, 12, 16, 17 and Grade 23 (Ti-6Al-4V ELI). Grade feasibility at each strip thickness and width is evaluated per inquiry.
Regular strip stock is limited. Grades and sizes held in regular strip stock are confirmed at inquiry time. A grade held in plate stock is not automatically held in strip form.
Titanium strip falls within the ASTM B265 / B265M scope for flat rolled titanium from 0.2 mm through 200 mm nominal thickness, subject to confirmation that the specific strip form (thickness × width) falls within the scope of the product standard. Where a downstream process or end-use application demands additional specifications — for example, edge condition, coil quality or tighter width tolerance — these are agreed per order.
Supply form notes:
The primary end use of wide titanium strip — feedstock for welded titanium tube and pipe production. See Welded Titanium Tubes.
Coil-fed processing where a continuous titanium strip is required.
Cut lengths for forming, welding and general fabrication work.
Coil stock for further slitting, rewinding or stamping operations.
Yes — both supply forms are available. Coils suit continuous-process lines and rewinding; cut-to-length strips suit downstream forming, welding and fabrication. The supply form is confirmed with your order.
Strip is a narrower rolled flat product form compared with standard sheet and plate. The width is the main distinguishing factor — strip is produced on dedicated strip mills or by slitting wider plate into narrower widths. Plate, sheet and foil are separate product forms with their own thickness ranges and supply conditions.
Feinuotai supports Grade 1, 2, 3, 4 (CP titanium), Grade 5 (Ti-6Al-4V), Grade 7, 9, 11, 12, 16, 17 and Grade 23 (Ti-6Al-4V ELI). Grade and width/thickness feasibility is evaluated per inquiry — grades held in plate stock are not automatically held in strip form.
