Titanium discs and circles — flat round blanks cut or machined from rolled plate or sheet stock to your drawing. Diameter, thickness, grade and quantity confirmed against your requirement.
Product Overview — Titanium discs and circles are flat round blanks produced from rolled titanium plate or sheet by cutting (laser, plasma, water-jet) or machining. They are made to your drawing or stated requirement — diameter, thickness, grade and any hole, groove or feature on the disc blank. Because they come from plate and sheet stock, the feasible diameter and thickness are bounded by the plate or sheet they are cut from.
Discs & Circles vs Forged Discs — Do not confuse cut / machined discs (from plate or sheet) with forged discs (from billet via forging). Cut blanks are the right choice for smaller to medium diameters, lower thickness-to-diameter ratios and simpler feature requirements. Forged titanium discs are preferred for larger diameters, heavier thicknesses and higher structural loading. See Titanium Forged Discs for the forged alternative.
Long-form note for procurement: Disc blanks are often a lower-cost alternative to a fully forged disc when the application does not require the full forging grain structure — flanges, caps, closures, tubesheet blanks and general machining blanks all commonly start as cut disc stock. The feasibility of cutting a disc is driven by the width of the source plate, so you should include both diameter and thickness in the inquiry.
Grade 1, 2, 3, 4 (CP titanium), Grade 5 (Ti-6Al-4V), Grade 7, 9, 11, 12, 16, 17 and Grade 23 (Ti-6Al-4V ELI). Grade feasibility follows the plate or sheet the disc is cut from.
Discs and circles are normally produced to order from plate or sheet stock. A grade held in plate stock is not automatically held as a finished disc.
Production route notes:
Round blanks for subsequent flange and fitting machining — a common feedstock for flanged components.
Disc blanks for caps, covers, closures and circular end pieces.
Cut disc blanks as the starting stock for drilled titanium tube sheets — see Titanium Tube Sheets.
Cut-to-drawing round blanks for downstream turning, milling and CNC operations.
They are cut or machined from rolled titanium plate or sheet, to the diameter and thickness stated in your drawing. The feasible diameter is bounded by the width of the parent plate. For larger diameters, forged disc stock may be the alternative.
Choose cut / machined discs from plate stock for smaller to medium diameters, lower thickness-to-diameter ratios and simpler feature requirements. Choose forged titanium discs for larger diameters, heavier thicknesses and higher structural loading where forging grain structure matters. See Titanium Forged Discs.
Feinuotai supports Grade 1, 2, 3, 4 (CP titanium), Grade 5 (Ti-6Al-4V), Grade 7, 9, 11, 12, 16, 17 and Grade 23 (Ti-6Al-4V ELI). Grade feasibility follows the plate or sheet the disc is cut from.
Send your drawing or specify diameter × thickness × grade × quantity — we will confirm the feasibility from plate or sheet stock and provide a tailored quotation.
