Six-sided titanium hexagonal bar — the primary starting material for titanium hex bolts and other hex fasteners, and used directly for structural components.
Product Overview — Titanium hexagonal bars are six-sided cross-section bar stock — the starting stock of choice for manufacturing titanium hex bolts and other hex fasteners by upsetting (heading) or milling. They are also used directly for components where a hexagonal cross-section is appropriate — for example, wrench-flat shafts or parts where hexagonal form matches the component function.
Long-form note for procurement: For titanium fastener production, hexagonal bar is the practical starting stock — round bar requires a separate hex-heading operation or milling step. The across-flats (AF) dimension is the critical specification — it must match the hex socket or wrench size of the finished fastener. Inquiring with AF dimension, grade and quantity lets Feinuotai confirm whether rolling to hex profile, drawing to hex or machining from square stock is the most economical route.
Grade 1, 2, 3, 4 (CP titanium), Grade 5 (Ti-6Al-4V), Grade 7, 9, 11, 12, 16, 17 and Grade 23 (Ti-6Al-4V ELI). Feasibility per AF dimension and grade evaluated per inquiry.
Regular hex bar stock is limited. Grades and AF dimensions held in regular stock are confirmed at inquiry time. Round bar stock is more widely stocked and can be milled to hex as an alternative.
Some mills supply titanium hexagonal bar against ASTM B348 / B348M or a mill-specific specification derived from round bar requirements. Standard applicability to your specific hexagonal bar form, grade and AF dimension is confirmed at inquiry time.
Scope note — ASTM B348's formal scope is titanium round bars and billets. It does not automatically cover hexagonal bars. Where Feinuotai supplies hexagonal bar under B348 alignment, the applicable tolerance and inspection provisions are confirmed together with the quote.
For titanium fastener applications, the fastener product standard (e.g. ASTM F468 / F467) applies to the finished fastener, not the starting bar. Hex bar starting stock is supplied against the applicable bar specification — the fastener standard references starting stock requirements rather than the hex bar itself.
Processing route options: rolling to hex profile, drawing to hex (smaller AF with tighter tolerance), or machining from square / round bar stock. The most economical route for your AF dimension and quantity is confirmed at inquiry time.

Used directly for parts where hexagonal cross-section is appropriate — wrench flats, tooling features.
Hexagonal bars used directly for supports and brackets where hexagonal form matches the component function.

Hexagonal bar is the practical starting stock for titanium hex bolt production — round bar would require either a separate hex-heading (upsetting) operation or milling to hex form. Hex bar provides the right cross-section from the start.
